do you suffer from skin pigmentation, scarring, and sun spots?

Have you been concealing your skin imperfections under thick layers of make-up and sunscreen every time you get out of the house? Blotchy skin can be depressing especially when it seems to be so difficult to get rid of those acnes, spots, and pigmentations.

Our daily diet, medication intake, and the sun’s UVA has an effect on the condition of our skin. You may get a flair of rosacea that causes reddish blotches on your skin. It could be hyperpigmentation, excessive deposits of melanin in human skin. Affected skin will get white or dark skin patches all over body, hands or face. It may be caused by injuries, the side reactions of beauty products, sun damage, and skin inflammation.

Fortunately, you can treat skin pigmentation, sun spots, and other skin problems with the help of essential oils. Lemon essential oil can be applied onto your affected skin area to treat skin pigmentation. You can also use it on normal skin as an exfoliator. Be cautious of getting out in the sun when under treatment to avoid undesirable skin reactions or sensitivity. It is best to carry out this treatment at night.

Carrot Essential Oil, rich in beta-carotene that gives the bright color to carrots, can be used to treat pigmentation, melasma, dark spots, skin patches and hyperpigmentation. Alternative options are Ylang Ylang and Rosemary Essential Oils.

If your skin is sensitive, mix a few drops of these essential oils with a carrier oil or skin cream and apply it onto your skin.

Do keep away from direct sunlight when you are under treatment.
